Accesible grandstands
To ensure everyone can enjoy the event, we can provide a ramp or platform lift to connect the different levels of the grandstand. This way, people in wheelchairs can easily move between levels.
We can also create special viewing areas for wheelchair users that are integrated with the rest of the seating. This means they won’t be separated from everyone else and can enjoy the event with their friends and family.
- Provide an accessible connection connecting the grandstand levels, either with a ramp route or with platform lifts. Provide certain spaces at different levels of the stands for wheelchair users. Avoid placing a space ‘apart’, and integrate its space with the rest of the users.
