Create Comfortable Surveillance and Rest Areas
Parents and caregivers need spaces to comfortably supervise children and relax while staying engaged. Thoughtful design can enhance their experience and promote a sense of community among families.

- Place benches and seating areas near play zones, ensuring they offer clear sightlines to all equipment.
- Ensure at least one in five benches includes:
- – A 40–45 cm deep seat with armrests and backrests.
- – Obstacle-free space in front and to one side (minimum 1.50 m diameter).
- Provide shaded rest areas to protect against sun exposure.
- Include stepped seating or elevated platforms for optimal visibility.
