Minimum Lux Levels
Lighting intensity and distribution must meet specified standards to ensure visibility, safety, and accessibility. Key measures for lux levels and uniformity. These lighting standards help maintain a safe, comfortable, and functional environment, accommodating the needs of all users.

- Indoor Areas: Generally require 100 lux, except for parking areas, which need a minimum of 50 lux.
- Outdoor Areas: Require a minimum of 20 lux.
- Lux Definition: Lux is the unit of measurement used to quantify the intensity of light falling on a surface.
- Public Buildings:
- Lobbies: Minimum 200 lux, with a guaranteed level of 300 lux.
- Corridors: Minimum 150 lux, with a guaranteed level of 300 lux.
- Residential Buildings:
- Lobbies: Minimum 100 lux.
- Corridors: Minimum 100 lux.
- Ensure even distribution of lighting throughout spaces. The ratio between the darkest and brightest areas should not exceed 40%. This balance prevents excessive bright or dark spots that can create discomfort or safety hazards.
